How stamped concrete driveways work

Coloured concrete or a colour hardener is used, then a release agent and patterned stamp mats are pressed into the surface while the concrete is still workable. Control joints are cut and the driveway is sealed. Popular patterns copy stone, slate, brick and cobble.
